Pure Application of Skills Based Approach

Title Description Video
1. Introduction: How the App Works Learn the structure of the app. Move through the layouts and screens. Understand the basic mechanics of the app and methodology.
2. Instances To accomplish the cycling and working with skill sets simultaneously, the app uses instances. An instance is not necessarily bound in time. An instance is also unstructured in the sense you define them ; for example, an instance could be tasking for a day (as show in a later video), a course, semester, or personal goals.
3. Onboarding The app provides a deep onboarding process to help discover and target skills. As the video shows, there is a Skills Parser, personality profiler, career and course finder, etc. all to aid a person in finding necessary skills . It is easy to add, remove, and pivot with skills as goals and requirements change.
4. Responsive Building on the previous videos, (you) already added skills and get the methodology, this video shows how a student might setup instances for a semester . But this could also be a training module or any type of learning.
5. Tasking Huge advantage of the Skills Based Approach methodology is being able to work with skills and the stages with any time interval. This video shows how to setup Skills Based Approach for a day . Rather than script a learning process months ahead, respond to personal and team performance, experiences, and teams with skills daily.
6. Signaling The third stage (Presenting) introduces signaling skills as you prepare, work on, and complete tasks. The advantage is by sharing progress with peers, teacher, professors, mentors, etc., you create flow on a granular, task level . This video introduces functions for signaling skills within the app with HTML and TEXT fragments.
7. Preferences Viewing the prior videos, you might get how the app works but figure there are so many layers and functions. This video show how to set preferences to remove what might be clutter for you. Setup only the layouts and actions you are going to use. The video also shows the auto-backup and restore feature with the app and website.
8. Mobile Website All of the prior videos show how the Android app works (with some reference to the backup / restore from the website). What if you are a learning practitioner who uses another mobile device? Your inclination to use the app is not only a preference, but also practical access. This video proves access to Skills Based Approach (and the Skills Label apps) from an IPhone, while showcasing the mobile website application.
